We are so enthused to share with you the details for this year's National Wilderness Workshop brought to you by the Society for Wilderness Stewardship and the National Wilderness Stewardship Alliance.

GEOGRAPHIC FOCUS: Yosemite National Park

WHEN: October 9, October 13 - 16, 2020
​
WHO: Wilderness fans of all stages - stakeholders, practitioners, volunteers, academics, enthusiasts!
WHAT: The theme this year is Wilderness in a time of Change, and the workshop will have sessions built around Ecological Change, Wilderness Culture, Wilderness Science and Wilderness Management.
FEE: The early bird gets the worm! Fees are based on a graduated scale:

For SWS and NWSA members: If you are an SWS member, log in and you will automatically see the member price pop up when you visit the registration page. To become an SWS member, click here.

For Students: If you are currently enrolled in school, email Jacob Wall to recieve a discount code for free registration.

Scholarships: If you would like to attend the NWW but have difficulty paying, contact Heather MacSlarrow to learn about available scholarships.

ATTEND: Virtual attendance will be through Zoom, facilitated with an SWS website landing page. All registered attendees will receive an email with a Zoom link one day prior (Thursday, October 8) to the workshop.
​
CONTENT: All NWW sessions will be recorded, and recordings will be available to all registered attendees. If you don't have time to join the workshop during the day, you can watch the footage at your leisure. Registered attendees will have exclusive access to content for six months following the workshop.
