Education

We conceptualize the professionalism of wilderness stewardship as a concentric system based on stewards' ability to make wilderness understandable, relevant and touchable to visitors of all ages, their peers, and themselves.  Our programs are designed to support wilderness stewards in this quest by providing career advanacement education through our Wilderness Stewardship Certificate Program, K-12 wilderness education tools through the Wilderness Education Project, and replicable youth and young adult programming that ties academic achievement to wilderness experience with our Alpine Achievers Initiative.
